The stay at Puzzle Cottage was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was tastefully refurbished with a mix of old features and modern twists, maintaining its character. It was exceptionally clean, and the food basket on arrival was a lovely touch. The location in a quiet village with plenty of nearby walks was perfect, and Leyburn being just a 5-minute drive away was convenient. The courtyard area was delightful, and we enjoyed having breakfast and tea outside every day. The hosts were perfect, making our stay even more enjoyable.
One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide a blanket on the sofa for snuggling under while watching TV in the evenings. Additionally, the highly polished stairs in the cottage were quite slippery, so it would be helpful to have some type of indoor footwear or grips to prevent sliding on them.

There were a couple of drawbacks. The highly polished stairs were quite slippery, so I would recommend wearing indoor footwear to avoid any accidents.
